Tell us when, how big and how loud. We reserve an area for you or give you the whole kunstbar. Your guests order at the bar, or you agree on a budget in advance, whatever you prefer.
Bring your own music or we find you a DJ from our network. Lights, sound and a microphone for the speech are already there.

Since 2008 die kunstbar has been redesigned by artists again and again. Right now street artist Marcus Krips paints the walls. For your night that means: no decoration needed, the room is the experience.

Can we celebrate on a weekday?
Yes, weekdays often leave more room. Saturdays are the most requested and go quickly.
Can we rent the whole bar or just an area?
Both. For smaller groups we reserve an area for you, for bigger parties the whole kunstbar is yours. Tell us roughly how many you are and we will suggest what fits.
How late can we party?
Until 1 am is always possible. Later is possible on request, just mention it in your inquiry.
What does it cost?
It depends on the day, the time and the scope. After your inquiry you get an individual offer, free and without obligation.
Can we bring our own DJ?
Yes. The DJ setup is ready, your DJ only needs to bring the music. If you do not have one, we are happy to connect you with someone from our network.
What about food?
We do not have our own kitchen. Finger food or catering is handled by our partners, we put you in touch.
What equipment is there?
A powerful sound system, atmospheric lighting, a DJ setup, microphones and several projection options. Everything is ready for speeches, presentations and the party.
How far in advance should we ask?
Most inquiries come about three months before the date. Saturdays go fast, especially in autumn and before Christmas. Ask early, an inquiry does not commit you to anything.
How do our guests get there?
die kunstbar is on Chargesheimerplatz, a few minutes on foot from Cologne central station and the cathedral. Trains and trams get you there in minutes.
